Default Dropping a 93' Civic EX

Hey guys, I'm about to lower my 93' civic EX and I wanted to know if I should go with 2.50 inch drop, or if it would be okay to drop it 3.25. I will be using lowering springs, the rims and tires will be Si wheels with whatever the fatcory size rubber is. Will 3.25 be too much? Will I need a camber kit? All suggestions welcome. Thanks.

I had my 94 dropped 4" at one point. Before my H22, due to the oil pan clearance. But I would say yeah, depending on your tires you go with. And mainly, depending on the roads you drive on. Bottoming out is never any fun.

so with the camber kit a drop of 3.25 should be okay? did you have any problems with scrubbing the tires when yours was slammed? what size wheels/tires were you running?

I really wouldn't go past a 3" drop. And if you're dropping that far, def. get a camber kit.

yeah I think 2.50 is enough for me, I mostly do straight line but I think it should still handle well on the twisties. Those Si's are gonna look hot... cant wait.

who thinks that $400 is a good price for a set of Si wheels with new tires on them? The tires are whatever honda puts on their cars from factory, and the same size. Bigger than mine none the less.
