Droppin '96 Civic Which Springs Are Good?
On Ebay I saw some Drop Zone springs for $75 is this a good deal. The springs drop the front 2.5" rear 2.25".
How about cutting the springs? Has anyone done this? Also, if someone could post some pics of a lowered Civic thatd be cool.
Thanks in advace.

I just picked up some RS*R springs on here for 35 bucks shipped. Keep your eyes open, as deals can be had. I would'nt drop that much on stock shocks and I'm not wild about Dropzone suspension peices anyway.

go with H&R you dont want to buy cheap ****...you get what you pay for. On the other hand dont buy some overpriced piece of **** either. I found H&R to be perfect for what i wanted and a reasonable price of 150 for the sport lowering spirngs. Lower 1.8 - 1.5 on civics 96-00.

Dropzone is cheap ****. I got Tokico shocks and springs. I love it. they sell a package and it's an awsome deal.

agreed, i got my h&r sport springs off ebay for 120 shipped and i'm totally stoked on the drop, but how they haven't sagged or aren't too harsh. perfect fit for me. dropzone sucks in basically everything. that's y they're so cheap.

Good choices, check out the classifieds, seems like a lot of people are ditching springs for cheap.

Thanks for the inpt everbody. Yeah its for my friend Louie, he just want to get low as cheap as possible. His main desire is to minimize the rear squat when starting out and shiftin gears. He says hes willin to put up with a stiff ride, so as long as the car is low he will be happy.
I will check out the classifieds and hopefully we will find something local (Chicago) and save some money on shipping.
Thanks again.
