it will be WAY louder.

most likely you will get a ticket for "modified emissions" and you'll have to go through smog. if your LUCKY and you dont have a dick for a cop pull you over you can explain to the cop that your muffler rusted out and youre on your way to buy a new one and have it installed, then cross your fingers and hope he buys it.

not likely a smog ticket, as the muffler has absolutely nothing to do with emissions.

it doesnt have to be. if your exhaust is modified, cops write it up as modified emissions, regardless. doesnt mean you will have to pay, but you will have to go through smog.

it'll get loud and depending on the cop that stops you, who knows what he'll write you up on...it could be a measly fix-it ticket to a state ref ticket...i wouldn't even chance it if i were you living in cali...

It's incredibly loud, at least with a H22.

I went for a ride in my friend's car with no muffler (rusted out & fell off). It was unbarably loud, especially when in the upper RPM range.

Word, I was driving my friend's GSR coupe around for a bit and the exhaust systme ended at the end of the header... It was very very loud, people did NOT appreciate it...cops seemed particularly annoyed, it was louder than any exhaust I've heard :-\

Anyways, it's very loud, and you'll very likely get a ticket :-\

It's going to be loud. Even with stock piping.

EKSi I have a bone stock Em1 and because of crapy snow/salt, last month my exhaust broke at the flange where it meets the b pipe. I tookt he whole axle back off and belive it or not it sounds just about the same as a apexi world sport. It was loud only when on VTAKKKKKKKKKKKKK mode. Im highlly thinking of thaking that cheap replacement muffler I have now and just go out there with no exhaust.
