Not doubting your install skills and I'm not claiming to be a susp. install expert - but are you sure you have the springs in their proper place Front & Rear, not Rear & Front?
And were all the shocks (5 way adjustables) set to the same settings before making any adjustments?

I t hink your stuff is backwards. The spring should have a F or R on it. thats front and rear... take another look. Modacar is good...

Tokico "springs"!? I have their "shocks", and, IMO, they're great, but I've never
heard of them making springs. To the original poster: sometimes, (depending
on the car), the wheel well HEIGHT will cause an optical illusion; in most cases
they'll be higher in front, for obvious reasons. Check it with a tape measure:
with a friend, get him to align his end to the top of the rear well, and then you
do the same with the front. Get your g/f to take a picture and let US see.
BTW... I ALSO think Modacar's fairly decent; definately RELIABLE. Inline4's
better, though, IMO.

Re: Dont Ever Buy These Springs!!!!! (TheHater)
dude i dont know what you are talking about if its rougher its suppose to be...i spent 700 bucks on my tokico 5 way adjustable coilovers and man they kick ****....sure its rougher but damn it corners much better and i love them dont tell everyone not to buy them because you dont like them. That is just a bad post. sell them get something else but dont turn off other people that would like a good shock and spring for a good price. Blah. You didnt even say why they suck...you cant just spread propagranda (sp) with out backing it up with proof so a picture of your car sitting still and you saying they suck means that they are bad...get real you probably didnt know they would make your ride rougher...but any drag racing shock/spring will make you car ride rougher...F*CKING NEWBIE dont hate on good sh*t
DEF
ps maybe you need an alignment....

i don't know if tokico shocks work the same a koni, but konis have a cup that the spring sits in... You may have the cup upside down.

Re: Dont Ever Buy These Springs!!!!! (FifthGearOnline)
Tokico springa don't lower a car that much from what I heard to keep it from blowing the shock. think someone already posted something similar. And the if it's the tokico 5 way with the coilover combo you definetly wont go that low from what I hear

Re: Dont Ever Buy These Springs!!!!! (97civhatch)
is the lower spring perch on the front shocks removeable? due to the incredibly detailed, well written instructions that come with konis (plus getting the wrong instructions and being a hasty moron), when i installed my springs on my koni yellows i put the perch thing on upsidedown on the front. so after i was done with the install my car about the looked the same. i guess the extremely difficult job i had recompressing the spring to reassemble the shock and spring should've told me something... i called up koni and the rep said the perch needs to look like a bell on the shock, not a cup. oops. ka-pow!!

no the perches are stationary. thats another cool thing about koni's they are partially ride height adjustable.
