If gas prices hit 4/gal....I would seriously consider it, thats for sure. Now I just think its cool and a good way to shut people up about the "dont buy gas on sunday, don't buy gas from exxon, etc" people.

its like, your so pro-active why don't you do this (bio fuel) its the answer to THE problem. Combine that with hybrid tech and whoa....all of a sudden there is no problem.

I think I'll even start a chain email letter saying how ineffective and stupid not buying gas on a certain day is. Not buying gas on a certain day will only affect the gas station owners who make a whopping 3-5 cents a gallon. The gas companies will not be affected.

A lone gas station who gets very little buisness will lower thier prices after a very slow day. end of story. If we all then go to the gas stations w/ lower prices ever local station will be forced to lower thier prices.

and you can save a whole 3-5 cents a gallon. WOW! That's the profit margin gas stations operate on. after that they would lose money, and they won't do that. The stations make most of their profit from their convenience store, not gas. Their suppliers are dictating the price. Like I said before, anyone who promotes this 'dont buy gas on x day' is only promoting their ignorance on the subject.

Common sense would tell you that not buying gas on any given day won't affect gas companies. Think about it....You don't go buy gas on Sunday. But you get low on the next day (or whenever) and fill up more since you didn't go on Sunday. So it ends up leveling itself off. Companies don't lose any money at all.

Let's say by luck ( a lot of luck) u reach 10,000 people. How about the people that dont' have internet? Airplanes? Buses? etc....You'll barely make a dent even if it did work.
