DOING A SWAP NEED SOME INFO

Default DOING A SWAP NEED SOME INFO

i gotta 2000 dx hatch with stock motor right now which im swapping out for b18b(ls) or 99-00 b16
i need a list of everything i need in order to do the full swap for each motor(mounts.wiring harness,etc) im not sure what i need to do the swap and i dont want to buy something and have it be wrong so i figured id do some research b4 buying anything

ok that doesnt help me at all being that i know what swap i want i just need to know a full list of things i need for each motor to make it work in my car (mounts, wiring harness, etc)

if you read into it more, it should tell you everything you need to know. If your gonna buy a swap, look at http://www.hmotorsonline.com they include EVERYTHING you will need.

sorry all im seeing is bits and pieces of what people think is right.. I need to know for sure so if anyone can make me a list of the stuff i would need for the b18b or the 99-00b16 swap please post it thanks alot..once again the motor is going into a 2000 hatch

You will need....
1.motor and tranny
2.ecu
3.mounts(most likely will come with engine)
4.axles
5.shift linkage
6.new radiator hose
thats all we had to change putting the B18B into my car, if you are going the B16 route, then you will need to wire for vtec and **** like that.

What You Will Need

(From the donor car)
1. DOHC power plant

- get a nice light one while you are at it.

9. Catalytic converter
- you will need a larger than stock one if you want to run the JDM 98Spec ITR's 4-1 header.

10. Del Sol VTEC/99+ US Civic Si A/C mounting bracket
- to match your AC compressor make. ie. Nippondenzo (only if you want AC)

11. Helms factory service manuals.
- One for your stock EK and one for your DOHC engine.

way more trouble than I had to go through, thank god we bought a whole integra, so i had everything i needed right there

If you order from hmotorsonline, also plan on investing in throttle cable being as they cut the ones on their motors, and the D series cable won't work without some level of creativity.
