Numbers look like a c1, but he says c5 in the title...
Ask him.
I asked him to provide VIN's for the cars they were pulled out of.

Re: (JDMlifestyle)
ok... that's what we like to call a JDM GSR Engine. 8200 redline and 180 Hp = JDM GSR. USDM GSR = 8200 redline and 170 HP.. Yay for knowing about honda engines..
JDM Type R = 8400(?) redline with 200 Hp(i think).. the **** can you buy an engine when you don't even know the specs of the engine you are looking for..? Not to mention, there was no Type-R in 1996(in America)

Re: (Hatchy-Ownzjo0)
'94-01 JDM Integra SiR B18C had 178hp and an 8000 RPM redline.
'94-01 USDM Integra GSR B18C1 had 170hp and an 8000 RPM redline.
'96-97 JDM Integra Type-R B18C had 197hp and an 8400 RPM redline.
'98-01 JDM Integra Type-R B18C had 197hp and an 8400 RPM redline.
'97-01 USDM Integra Type-R B18C5 has 195hp and an 8400 RPM redline.
The title and picture for that auction indicate a JDM Integra Type-R engine, but the specs listed indicate a JDM Integra SiR engine. I'd stay away.

when was the last time you looked at the tach on a GSR? redline isnt 8000.. it's 8100 with an 8200 fuel cut off.. CLEARLY, past 8000!
the engine described in the e-bay auction is a JDM B18C SiR.. Or GSR.

Re: (Hatchy-Ownzjo0)
i think this guy's a scammer. if you look at his feedback, be may have 100% wit ha score of 53, but look at all the things that he buys. he buys hella **** that's lyke $1 or lyke $3, and that builds up his score. The stuff he buys that are expensive he probably turns around and sells it again like all those cameras he buys 'n sells. i say don't do it, not worth the risk

Re: (Hatchy-Ownzjo0)
The pictutes of actual motor are attached to this email.
The warranty on this engine is a 30 day start-up warranty.
About specs, I ask my supplier and they said that it was mistake, it
was mixed up with other motor.
Correct specs:
Redline: 8900 rpm
Diplacement: 1797cc
Torque: 134 lb-ft@7500
Horse Power: 210hp@8000
Compression Ratio: 11.0:1
So tell me if you have more questions.
My regards
Robert
Thats he last email to m e

Re: (mash her down)
Who would buy an engine on eBay? Especially after all of the scammers H-T has discovered. Try to buy from a reputable company so you don't get shafted.

Re: (snoochtodanooch)
my uncle just got ripped off on ebay with a wire transfer, do not buy this engine, its bullshit. If anyone is in oregon, call the guy on it, and ask to go check it out, see if he responds.

Re: (eg94b18)
this isn't even cheap ****, i guarantee he doesn't even have any engines. If they want a bank transfer they are scamming, plain and simple. if its a certified auction for like a house or a 100,000 dollar car, then a bank transfer is ok. Otherwise, it is best to deal with easily traceable things, and not send the money Instantly to the person. If anyone looking at this is from Oregon, they should call the guy on it. It would be hilarious to watch him crumble.
