Parts list.
s2000 steering wheel
96-2000 Civic Steering column(mine wasfrom a 98 coupe)

Disconnect battery.
Everyone knows how to disassemble the underdash .
3 phillips screws and remove cover.
2 10mm bolts to remove brace.
2 12mm bolts and 2 12mm nuts to drop column.
2 10mm bolts on u-joint.
Unplug all plugs to remove entire column.
You can remove steering wheel before or after the column is removed but you really do not need to because nothing will be needed from the original column.

The biggest issue is the wiring cause the original car wiring does not just plug and go. When getting your EK column make sure you also get the car side plugs to wire into yours. I did not do this so I Have wires jumped but I will change that as soon as I can get back to the junk yard to get those plugs. Your EG column harness is actually a ribbon cable for cruise, horn, and airbag. The EK column has 2 harnesses 1 for cruise and horn 1 for airbag.

Now this is the tricky part of the install. The ribbon harnes goes to a plug with 6 wires(all gray in this harness) for cruise, horn, and airbag. You will need a meter to do continuity tests for the horn and cruise. These go to a plug on top of the fuse box. 4 pin plug with light green/red, light green/black, blue/green, and blue. I did not get pics of all the wiring cause I got into chasing all these wires I forgot but I will get pics when I add the new plugs in the next few days. I will edit this post further cause I am sure I left some things out but I know everyone is ready for the pics and yes all things work correctly.

Before

s2000 wheel

EG column

EK column

Stripped

Complete

I know some will say that eg and ek are not correct. I dont feel like labeling all body codes so I just used EG and EK to keep it simple.

Feedback Welcome.
