You'd better put your flame suit on, then post a pic of your engine or get the engine code off the block, we'll tell you if it has "V-TECH" or not

1. NO
2. Around $25.00 for the basic unit
3. There are a lot of V-TECH models you can choose from check out google search or http://www.vtech.com

wow your car has a cordless phone in it? Howd you get that to work? Can you do a write up on it?
Unless someone swaped a V-tec motor into your car I believe no 96 hatchback except the UKDM and JDM models came with that type of motor stock.

LOL Dude I'm not even gonna flame you, but only because everybody already took the jokes I was thinkin of when I read this post.
CXs and DXs didn't come with VTEC; VXs and Sis did have VTEC.
To put it in, you could do a Mini-Me Swap (Taking the head, which is where most the VTEC stuff is, and swaping it onto your block; you also need and APEX'i VTEC controller and some other things I am not sure of. There are plenty of write-ups on here and on the web of this; Google Search: Mini-Me Swap). (All parts costing around $500-$600) (Easy to do)
You could also swap in the entire motor from a 92-95 EX/Si, which would be the best bet. Just make sure you have everything. (All parts/install costing at most $700-$800).
You could also splurge on an expensive JDM motor (B16A, H22A), a high horsepower, DOHC VTEC model that only them damn Japs got the pleasure of having in their cars as they drove them off the lot brand new. Most expensive (Full motor swap as much as $3000 for the B16A, more for an H22).
LOL Hope this little bit of information helps you out. By no stretch of the imagination am I an expert at this, so take the questions from here and post them on the right forums here at HondaTech. Just try not to sound like such a Noob
IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!! IT's VTEC!!!
Your welcome in advance...
