Default Does the EM1 Si wing mount with the same holes as the EX spoiler?

Picked one up for the wife and decided I might mount it earlier and paint it to match. Wondering about the holes in the trunk though. I'm wondering if anyone happens to know by chance? Would save me some body work on the trunk and having to match paint, which I don't want to do right now.

Thanks

the si has a higher spoiler 5 inches taller then the ex also the electrical for the cyclops light is on the oposite side for the si model allthough the mounting bolts (4 ten mm bolts) are the same

I should've clarified further. She has a 97ex wing (lower profile), and I bought her an EM1 si wing. Should be good to go though.

I think it's funny how you used a digit for the quantity, but a word for the bolt head size. No point in mentioning this, just thought it was strange.

Incorrect.

You're thinking of the '96-'98 coupe spoiler versus the '99-'00 coupe spoiler.

The '96-'98 coupe spoiler is lower and has a long LED light bar.

The '99-'00 coupe spoiler is higher and has "CIVIC" embossed on the bottom next to the LED light bar. The light bar on '99-'00 coupe spoilers is not as wide as the '96-'98 one.

'96-'98 sedans and '99-'00 sedans also have different styles of spoilers too. The '96-'98 sedan spoiler is lower than the other trunk lid spoilers and has three legs on the bottom. The '99-'00 sedan spoiler has two legs and looks very similar to the '96-'98 coupe spoiler, but it pointier overall.

The sedan spoilers are less common than the coupe spoilers.

I'll just take it off and compare them side by side for the answer. It appears they are the same, but as is typical with the model specific forums there is constant conflicting information.

Not a lot of people swap the spoilers for the other I suppose.

I have been through the same thing.

Yes... the 99-00 Si spoiler will mount into the same holes as the 96-98 spoiler.

I spy some search tags....too bad the search sucks anymore...lol. It seems to be improving kind of...but nothing like the old one.

Sounds like a go though...good deal.
