does the comptech integra sway bar fit a 92-95 civic hatch si??
I was looking on comptech and they didn't have one for my year. I wanna go comptech but i'm not sure what to get. does anybody have any suggestions so i could hang faster turns. I already got a neuspeed strut in front and i'm gonna lower it for sure.

Re: (wannabe_si)
thanx for the great suggestion. Does the sway bar require any drilling? What ways are the Jdm sway better than the comptech sway besides the price. I do want the best If the two sways are pretty equal in quality ofcourse I'll go with the cheaper one but i do want the best. thankx

well 92-95 civics rear lca's did not come predrilled with swaybar mounting holes, so you'd have to drill them or swap the lca's out for teg lca's.
suspension techniques swaybars however, mount to the bottom of the shock, so you dont have to drill.

personally, i'd suggest using the comptech. save your subframe from ripping out like mine did. bigger isn't always better. the comptech is a very nice piece that i wish i would have had.

i've never heard of clearance issues with swaybars because of certain coilovers

i drilled my old ones, the only problem with that is you have to make sure your cars rear end is completely level or it could mess things up. i would suggest getting integra LCAs

Re: (vtec69)
most aftermarket rear lower control arms come with a pre drilled mounting hole for the sway bar.. all you gotta do is look at a picture of the control arms to see if there are 3 mounting holes.. and thats it.. i have yet to see an aftermarket control arm that doesnt have a spot for a rear sway bar.. i like wicked tunings rear control arms, because they have rebuildable bushings... which is always a good thing..

Re: (winman517)
aftermarket lcas have mounting points for sway bars but are definitly not worth the money.. just get some integra lcas at a junk yard and save yourself the money... unless of course you can spend the extra money and get some nice lookiing aftermarket ones... its really up to how much u want to spend and if u want the bling look..
as far as sway bars go... i took a tour of the eibach factory and i can tell you that they have tested out numberous bars on some crazy machine that bends them to test the rigidity of the bars and yes... bigger is not always better...
the comptech setup is very nice and i know a friend who runs it and he is very happy with it. The ITR bar is a very good piece if its oem but just be weary if u but it on without a subframe reinforcement because it will tear your subframe especially if u dont have really high spring rates to match with the bar.. goodluck
my vote is for comptech or ASR

Re: (EeeJayEight)
eeejay you've got it backwards-
Subframe tearout is more likely to happen when a larger diameter sway bar is used in conjunction with high spring rates, not low spring rates.
