Actually 2 years ago when I had or drove my Sol I saw a post for someone selling one on some JDM site. I really can't remember the site but I know they used to sell them. I'll ask my cousin(doesn't like the internet) but he was thinking about getting one for his Sol.

That is pretty cool. But it takes forever for it to do its little dance.

OT but do the usdm roofs get stored in the trunk lid like that??? or do you just put it in the trunk compartment like normal...
Cuz the fact that it's stored in the trunk LID not the trunk is pretty pimp in itself... Not the greatest thing for weight dist. but hey... it frees up some trunk space.
What all does the conversion come with?
It seems like it would even need to include the dash (as that's where the buttons are).

Very difficult conversion, espescially for someone without welding and cutting experience... and yeah, the cost is close to 3 grip.

as for more trunk space... the trans top trunk is much smaller to accomodate the motors/lift to move the trunk lid. as for needing a dash, you just need the trans top switch... it will fit right in a usdm dash. I have one if anyone needs it!
