How afr does the Civic cluster space cut into the fual and temp guages on the Teg cluster?

J/C. That looks good from that angle - got any head-on pics? and how did you do it so clean?

It takes about 10 hours of hand sanding, a bit of bondo, and a good eye. need both clusters, a dremel and a cutting bit. its not easy by any means. i was thinking of doing the sevice for a fee, but it just takes so much time! Ive made two more clusters, a USDM GSR and a JDM GSR (almost done), which are for sale.

thats cool, original etc., but whats the point really for all the work...theres nothing on the teg cluster that the civic cluster doesnt have...dont get me wrong...im not bashing you in any way, you did a great job...looks clean and all...just questioning its functionality...

actually, the civic cluster doesn't give RPM readings to 9000, which is where I am capable of shifting, and the Tach is easier to see too, since its bigger. add in "Wow, that looks awsome" from fellow civic owners...

My stock Si/EX cluster does go to 9000rpm though. Not trying to argue, but they Si/EX cluster goes to 9000rpm too. I shift @ 8900 right now, but after cams and valvetrian it might be 9400 What will i do then? Call YOU and ask you to mold in a Type r cluster that goes to 10,000 I guess

But they look totally different, so good job to you.

Could you fit in a SPOON cluster in an EG? I'm sure you'll get requests, but I ain't got that kind of cheese.

Well, Ok, then the tach is just bigger so its easier to see. Damn people like to bust my ***** around here. If you have a EG/EJ with no tach now this is perfect. You get a tach, and a conversion at the same time!
Honestly, when the VAFC reads 9000, the tach on my cluster is at 9500, so they are all off. You are probably shifting at 8400 or so, not 8900.

yeah the si/ex goes to 9k, but the gsr seems like it would be easier to read at those rpms.

So what is the problem with the gsr cluster? Is it just the size or something else that is in conflict?

**** if it only takes some sanding and such to make it fit than seems like it wouldnt be a bad idea.

Good Work

I assure you I'm not busting your ***** - you've done an awesome thing here man, so congrats! I just wanted to point out that the Si/EX cluster goes to 9000, that's all.

SERIOUSLY, how much would you charge me to get a Type R cluster looking that good in my Civic dash? My pal said he'd give me his USDM ITR cluster after he swaps it for a JDM one. 10,000 would be nice! Let me know please, and don't take my post as negativity!

Naa, the two clusters are completely different shapes. The civic cluster is smaller on top than on bottom, and the integra is the opposite. I basically cut the two bezels apart and mold them together and make it look good. its not hard, just takes time and patients. I figure some people would want to just buy it instead of do it.

I don't have any TypeR clusters as people want too much for them. If you get the TypeR cluster and a civic bezel, I can do the conversion for you. email me for a price on that when you find the R cluster. acura_typer@yahoo.com

Yes, but it takes a civic cluster bezel. The price new from Honda is up there so its cheaper usually to buy someone's old CX cluster, which is what I had to do to make these. If you find a bezel, I can convert your cluster to fit for a fee. Email me for info: acura_typer@yahoo.com
