That picture is of an automatic. If thats what you have you dont have a pilot bearing and you sure wont be needing a clutch

Like it was said, your going to need alot of things, like a manual transmission, shift linkage, manual transmission frame bracket, manual ecu....the list goes on.

you need to buy one, the automatic is different the manual, I don't even know if its called a flywheel on an auto

Re: Do i have pilot bearing????? (egsleepercivic)
you need a manual flywheel, manual flywheel bolts (longer than auto) a clutch disc, pilot bearing and pressure plate with pressure plate bolts, 5 speed pedal assembly (gas, clutch, brake) from a civic, clutch master cylinder, clutch lines, slave cylinder, 5speed trans with throwout bearing, shift fork, shift linkage, linkage bitch pin, and you have to cut off the pass. side trans mount and relocate it to 5 speed position (you can buy these brand new from honda), you will have to fab boltholes for the back of the linkage to bolt to the underside of the car, and you have to rewire the auto wiring to bypass the nuetral safety switch and run wires from the trans to the cabin and wire into the auto wiring for reverse lights. I maybe forgetting something....oh and a 5 speed rear trans bracket.

Is that engine in your car? If so it is an auto not a 5 speed. If you're swapping that engine in for some reason and you do have a 5 spped you can just use the clutch flywheel from your old engine.
That device is called a flexplate not a flywheel and bolts to the torque converter.

You have to measure and weld on a new trans upper mount to the framerail on an auto car. The measurement has to be precise as well to have the correct geometry of where the engine trans sits. I've seen hack conversions where the mount was welded in the wrong place and the person couldn't figure out why they were blowing up so many axles and differentials. This is a job for somebody with experience and good welding skillz.

Hasn't this **** be posted already on how too.., and if you dont know the difference between a flexplate and a flywheel you shouldn't be [freak]ing with it. the tranny mounts are different by the way.

That's very usefull info, how was anyone supposed to know you were doing a b swap? Yes all you need is the correct mounts a flywheel, 5 speed flywheel and pressure plate bolts, and a clutch pack.
