Default Do gsr FATFIVE rims really weigh 25+ pounds??

Do fatfive gsr rims weigh 25+ pounds each? Thats what some guy said his rims weighed. I kno rotas weigh like 12lbs for 15's, and 13.5lbs for 16's.

Im downsizing from 17's down to 16's, and im looking for something that weighs under 15lbs each.... but Do lighter rims really help out at all?

Im asking about the fat five rims because i found a good deal on the rims but after he said he thinks they weigh 25lbs.. i said... no i'll look around more for 16"s

Let me kno... oh ya and if u have 16's for sale Email w a price and a pic cuz im still a stupid trial member, and i cant post in the classifieds

no they don't weigh 25lbs. I think they are 18lbs, but can't remember right off the top of my head. And yes, lighter rims will help you be quicker.

Honda 15" OEM wheels (Si, Fat 5's, LS Spokies, Blades) are all like 15-16 lbs a piece

Yes lighter rims help performance. Less weight on the axles means less rotational weight. which doesnt take as much effort to turn that those heavy 17's and 18's
