DIY: How to intall Front Benen Tow Hook
Things you'll need:
-2 19mm Wrenches
-OEM front Bumper Support
*All hardware is included in the tow hooks*
Many people say toy have to drill to install it, well NO! Its a very Easy job From 1-10 Difficulty I would say 0.5. Not even necessary to take off the bumper. This was installed on an Eg6 chassis
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Make sure your car has its OEM Front Bumper Support (Located obviously behind the bumper.)
2.Look at the holes that comes with your factory bumper support. (that's what you're going to use to install it.) NO DRILLING
3.Use you Bolt like this and install from bottom to up.
4. Should look like this from the upper side.
5.Tighten and this should be your final result

pretty much.
The tow hooks are intended so tow vehicles on a racetrack have an easier time pulling you when you go off the track, however 80% of the people that buy benen tow hooks do so for the eibach meet BBQ points and will probably never see a track in their lives.

Hey OP it's an EG6 chassis? Why does the core support say "Honda of Canada" then?
Anyways cool write-up if you're into this sort of thing, you know, tow hooks. I find them to be hazardous shin-killers myself.

umm thats a nice install if you NEVER plan on actually using it. just one bolt? i mean cmon. if you EVER tried to pull a car with that the tow hook would twist and turn and loosen so quickly.
thumbs down for another hack install. it takes literally 15 minutes for a newbie to take the bumper off, and then another 5 to drill another hole.
install it right the first time or dont do it at all.

How many people who buy/install this part ever use it anyways?
I say great write-up for 90% of the people buy this for, and that's hard parking looks.
Arguments trying to justify forged wheels, carbon fiber parts, stiff suspensions, seats, etc. etc. can all be validated by hard parkers, but this is the one mod that just cannot be explained away - it serves zero function other than extra bling bling for Nisei Meets/hard parking meets.
For the 1% that actually use the parts for their intended purpose, then bravo, but we all know who the main buyers are...

well just cuz i dont race my cars professionally doesnt mean i wont use it lol. a tow hook is AWESOME for cars that are slammed and you dont want the flatbed tow trucks hook and cable tearing up your bumper.
