I lamin-x'ed my 99-00 fogs too. Turned out much better than my orangish colored krylon stained glass crap I had before.

I'd pick these on the painted glass just for protection.

The wavelength of yellow light diffuses fog better than white light... or so ive been told when I asked that question a long time ago

Question: can you peel that stuff off if you decided you no longer like it? Or does it "melt" onto the glass after the bulb heats it up?

nice write-up.

unlike most, i prefer clear lenses with yellow bulb (Luminics). best of both worlds

yeah... you can peel off and it doesn't leave behind sticky glue. It doesn't melt on the glass.

For smaller applications Lamin-X recommends aaplying it dry. It's really easy. Mine came pre-cut too, so I just peeled it off the backing and stuck it on

FYI...

They have a pre-cut kit for the 99-00 fog lights.

http://lamin-x.com/ecommerce/o...63998

Of course, it's $3.00 more than buying what was suggested in the first post...

http://lamin-x.com/ecommerce/o...63998

But I thought I'd point that out to anyone looking to buy this. I just purchased the non pre-cut kit for my set of OEM fogs today.
