Distributor mostly toast, currently weighing options.
I don't know if you all saw it the other day in a thread my Mom in Idaho posted for me about being stranded on the side of the road in my del Sol. Turns out there is a whole laundry list of stuff worn out in the distributor. Ignition coil and igniter being the most prominent. I'm currently weighing my options and even wondered about simply getting an aftermarket one like the Moroso. MSD had one too but you need external stuff and the engine is stock. The Moroso might be overkill but it's cheaper and easier than taking it apart to put in genuine Honda stuff. I usually always try to get OEM but the prices have been ridiculous on some of the things. If I do rebuild it, I'm going with Autozone stuff. What are your thoughts on this?

Buy it now for $160? That sounds too good to be true, can anyone vouch for their quality?

Yes, I can. I have bought numerous distributors from them, and have zero problems with any of them. They ship fast, and the quality is great. Their xustomer service is even pretty dang good.

I guess I'll go with the Distributor King dizzy. I really just need the car to make it till the summer after I'm out of the Marine Corps. That's when I can put it up on stands and leave it that way for a summer, working on it, and tending to every little problem.

Anyone else have something good/bad to say 'bout Dizzy King?

i just recently oredered one from distributor king because they have thousands of good compliments and no negatives things said about them..its worth it buying theirs instead of spending 300-400 on an oem part...plus its on sale so get it before it goes out..they usually sell it for 293 if you check but its on sale for 160!!i say take it!!!
