Differences between EX and Si
Looking to get a 5th generation civic real quick. Any sites where I can find info on these cars is appreciated, also- did the Si hatches come DOHC? I know the EX coupes did but would really like a hatch with a twin cammer in it if at all possible. -thanks

Re: Differences between EX and Si (spankaveli)
For the '99 and 'OO Si the differences are:
DOHC-VTEC for the Si, SOHC VTEC for the EX
Si has different final drive ratio, and its tranny is geared more aggressively
Si has thicker front sway bar
Si has rear sway bar, EX has none
Si has stiffer shocks and springs
Si comes with four wheel disc breaks, EX does not
Si front discs are larger than EXs
Si has front strut tower brace, EX does not
Si comes with different seats
The list is not exhaustive by any means. Just using it to show that the differences between an EX and the Si are more than the motor.

Re: Differences between EX and Si (vizwiz)
Ooops, my bad--I should learn to read. My comments (above) apply only to the 6th gen. I am woefully ignorant of the 5th gen Sis, etc.
Sorry!
Sorry!
