Default Difference in struts EG vs EK??? Help

I went to install some springs on my 00' Civic coupe last night. After changing the first three without a problem we got the the back passenger side. Go figure every bolt was frozen in the LCA and the strut/spring assembly. I already have located a LCA and the needed bolts.

My question is, can I use a rear strut from an EG??? I know someone that has one and I am just using this car for a daily driver.

Any help is appreciated!

Nick

You can use the rear strut of an EG if you have to on your EK, you will just need something like washers to make up for the gap since the EK has a thinner LCA and the EG has a wider strut fork.
