Default Difference between Header Types???

I'm looking into getting a header for my B20B VTEC setup in my EK. I was wondering what is the difference between the 4-1 header and the 4-2-1 header? And does the material of the header make any gains or losses, for example a ceramic coated or stainless stain header? Thanks in Advance.

look at the two headers. 4-1 goes from 4 pipes to 1 pipe. 4-2-1 4 pipes go to 2 then to 1 pipe. make sense? 4-2-1 are typically better for daily driving that offer more mid-high end power, 4-1 is more top end power.

i dont think material makes any difference. SS just looks better, last longer and there might be some weight differences.

weight difference is miniscule. the big difference is that the SS ones are shiny and the ceramic ones arent. oh the ceramic ones are also a hell of a lot cheaper (relatively) and the ceramic doesnt bleed heat off into ur engine bay nearly as much as the SS ones do, b/c ceramic is a POOR CONDUCTER OF HEAT!!!!!
