difference between 90-93 and 94-97 integra prop valve (4040)

Default difference between 90-93 and 94-97 integra prop valve (4040)

they both have stamped 4040, but are different part # from acura. is there a difference in tehm? thank

no difference at all just part numbers are different... i know first had because my first 40/40 was from my friends 92 integra and i check with acura they have different part numbers...so your good to go..

oh the only other real difference is maybe the bracket but you can just unscrew and put the one you have from your civic.

I thought that the 90-93 prop valve used in the integra RS 4wheel disc brake Non-ABS was different than the 94-01 prop valves with 4disc ABS?

That's why people doing 92-95 civic disc brake conversions choose 90-93 prop valves, since there is no re-flaring done. (If they choose to use a new prop valve)

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

90-93 non abs and 94-01 non abs are all the same... the integra abs "pancake" prop. valves are different and cant be used.&lt;&lt; atleast thats what ive been told never tried it myself.

as long as you stay non abs. you can use the 94-01 props that look like this

Okay that's what I thought. I forgot that the 94-96 RS models had non-abs prop valves too.

yea i was wasting time running around town trying to cofirm if the early integra 40/40 were the same and they are just different part numbers...


so use my hard work and rest easy...


im just not sure on the pancake versions. i have no need to find out so why bother...

abs pancake style pp only have 4 port 2 in from the mc and 2 out to the abs.
