Default difference of b18b1 valve covers

Im wonderin how LS valve covers have different looks.. the valve cover i have is this kind.


but the one i like more is the smooth kind like this.


is there anything i can do to make the valve cover smooth??

i think the difference might be years,,
94-95 (rough)
96-00 (smooth)

post it in the appreance section, this isn't tech related... I never even knew there was an LS engine for a 92-00 civic... GTFO

The valve cover you want comes with the 98 and up tegs.
