Hey guys my 93 sol si has a noise that is hard to describe, it does it when I turn, sometimes when I accelerate quikly and when I brake. It sounds like the body is twisting or something. But it sounds like its coming from the pass. side. Ill try and post a vid with sound so you can hear it. Any ideas would be great, but I cant really describe the sound. Thanks

Does it sound like a popping ? Might be an axle.

Its not a clicking like an axle normally sounds. Its more like a ginding sound maybe? Im gonna try and get it up soon.

brakes wereput on a month ago, noise was before and after. i want to try and get a vid of the sound. Its just weird like I dont know what to do

If it is a grinding sound, maybe you should change the wheel bearing?

I've had mine changed not long ago, its a grinding sound and its kinda hard to speak to the passenger when its there

its hard to describe. Hopefully tom. vid. will be up. If its a wheel bearing it would be grinding all the time right? To me it seems like something in the suspension.

i had a crazy sound coming from my car in the front and the sound wasnt a clicking. but it WAS the axles. so even though its not clicking it could still be some shitty axles. but grinding? have you checked all the bushings? your ball joints?

this is my 1st fwd car so what should I look at as far as the axles? I got the day off today so Im gonna try and look at it

I have the same problem, I have replaced the rear and front wheel bearings, outer cv's for the clucking sound as well as the upper ball joints and problem still there...let me know what you done to fix your's and ill update if I get mine fixed..

you just go under there and look at where the axles go into the tranny. check to see if it looks like where they connect to each other, is in an awful state. which could lead to a noise you are hearing while breaking or doing anything stressful to the car. if it is the axles anyway.

Mine's doing the same thing so I'm in for answers on this...my boot is split and my cv just started spitting grease so I suspected that as the problem...I'm about to replace mine so if that fixes my problem I'll let you know.

Don't rule out the power steering (if you have it). My accord made a noise like a wheel bearing when turning turned out the seals were bad on the rack.
