Will the front and rear or either brake setup form a '94 VTEC Del Sol bolt up onto a '97 Civic CX?

Yes they will fit, and yes it will work better! Not sure if the del sol parking brake cables will work.

I agree with you on the rear disc, my friend sadi they didn't make a difference on his eiter. But as for the front, it would be physically impossible for them to not make a difference.

don't waste your time on the rear disks man. man even if the ******* are free. DISKS ARE LIKE DICKS...THEY'RE ONLY MEANT TO BE IN FRONT.

I got the DIBS on 'em but any how find me a good trade or some new tires, thats all her car really needs is new tires. But her stockers are 14's too so they'll look better than caps.

i actually did that exact swap on my ej hatch. the front and rear wear COMLETELY swapped. also, there was much better stopping as opposed to the crappy brakes the civics come with.

swap was from a 95 del sol VTEC, cross drilled rotors.

but drum brake is not working well under high heat. since the drum will expand due to the heat.

On a similar topic....What is it that i would have to do to change over to Teggy front disc's????

And whats the size of the Oem 96 civic front disc compared to the 96 up teggy??


Sorry but im not real knowledable on brakes, haha I did my own swap yet I dont fully understad brakes yeah i know...I suck. And since this is a similar topic i didnt want to do the famous "Search"

I think it's 9.5 inch to 10.3 inch. I think all the VTEC models came with 10.3 up front, not including the R's.
