Default del sol shaking??

ok so it was a nice day out and i decided to take the top off my sol. i start driving and i get to about 55-60 and the steering wheel starts to shake really bad? i just recently had my tires balanced and it still does it?!?! idk if removing the roof takes away from the stability of the body or what it is? if anyone has this problem or a solution please post it.

no.. alignments wont shake!!!

50-60 shaking is normally balancing ofd your tire and rims. a wheel weight could have feel off at one point..you could have hit a pothole at one point between your balancing and now. rims and tires could even be static balanced meaning weights only on the inside lip and not the outside lip which is a harder method balancing wise.

your vehicle wouldnt shake with the top off...it might feel unstabble possibly but you wouldnt feel it in the steering wheel.

go back to where you got the tires balanced and tell them at 60 mph your wheel shakes cruising.

funny thing is i balanced them my self at work. and i didnt static i hate that. i used stick weights on the inside in 2 places by both of the lips. i even road forced them thinking that it might help. the only thing that gets me is y it shakes with the top off but it doesnt with the top on???

interesting.. does your wheel shake or does the whole vehicle shake?

im unsure on the del sol's and what honda uses for a wind deflector while the top is off. but i know typical sunroofs have a wind deflector that pops up when the sunroof is opened to reduce that pitter patter effect which is more decribed as a noise then an actual vibration.

Definitely not normal. I own a del Sol and have never experienced this and never heard of it either.
