Del Sol - New GSR Swap Wont Start
Ive jus installed a GSR motor into my del sol. nd now it wont start.. whats mite be wrong wit it? It does turn over. Thanks a bunch

you know a picture or a longer description would deffinalty help out a lot. But based on what you are telling me, im sure you have some loose muffler barrings and should top off your blinker fluid and then you will be golden! (BTW THAT WAS BS B4 I GET MODDED)

try in the distributor ....it might be the ignitor or coil. or could be that your not getting fuel....check for that...good luck

well, maybe if he said something like: I've had problems with mounting XXXX part into XXXX location and shows a pic = ]

if its not turning over at all you might want to check your grounds does you alternater turn at all and is there power to it when i swapped out my motor it wouldent turn over but thats because i didnt check the rest of my conections if this is just stupid sounding than yes it could be because your not getting any fire or problems with the dis

on the thermostat housing there is a wire that bolts up to it actually its got 3 little wires on it and its the fuel injection ground make shure thats on there or no gas....
check for spark make shure you have the plug wires in the right order 1342 starting from the lower left pole...
i know it may sound stupid but ive done it once..... make shure the ecu is plugged in .if you need a pic of the wire im talking about pm me and ill post it tomarrow.... that is one of the small grounds that get mistaken and dont get put on

3 things to start a car:
air
fuel
spark
air:
u can check if throttle plate is opening and nothing is clogging the filters...
fuel:
if u put the key in a/c u should hear the fuel pump ...if ur in a quiet area...it's not loud but it's noticable...coming from the rear of the car.... also check for clogs in fuel lines etc....
spark:
this is most likely it cuz u said it's cranking but not turning over
check spark plugs, and wires...put a test light on wire and have friend crank and see if u get power...check if all wires are hooked up to plugs....and finally dizzy could be the culprit
