Del Sol high speed ?
Firstly I seem to experience a weird "light" feeling in the front end at higher speeds. Over 80).
All the bushings and wheel bearings etc are perfect. new wheels/tires but it did it before I switched those.
I'm wondering if the power steering is "speed adjusting" and maybe not working correctly as the steering is very light at speed, it also tends to wander from side to side ever so slightly, not much, just a little and is very worrying. The steering rack and joints all seem perfect, no play anywhere and wheel alighnment is also perfect, I had it done twice at differebt shops that specialize in alignment.
Any input ?

How fast are we talking here?
And the suspension - is it stock?
I've noticed countless times on Hondas with OEM suspension at 100+ the car feels extremely unstable - much like the MKIV Jettas.
This is usually due with the spring rates combined with how high off the ground they are - air moves underneath it and lifts the chassis up, then gravity fights it and the car oscillates - this is one of the reasons it feels unstable.
EDIT:
Seems like you edited it and added the speed.
Yeah, that's about right..it's a civic, not a veyron - for all intents and purposes in America's highways you shouldn't be doing more than 75-80 off track.
Its original intent was economy, keep that in mind.
Lower the suspension and you'll see different results, more-so if you also increase the spring rate.

Re: (Syndacate)
Thanks SYN, that kinda was how I was leaning. I'm looking as slightly stiffer springs/shocks, but don't want to go overboard as it's just a daily driver.
I wasn't sure if was just me expecting too much from a civic, or if there may be something mechanicaly wrong with it. I had a new del Sol vtec (b16) in 96 and sold it the next year, . I thought that was prety stable, even at speeds over 100. But I swear it had an air dam under the front bumper, not atatched to the front like a lip, but way back underneath. I can't find any mention anywheres and was wondering if this may help some.
