Del sol fog light question
i got a 93 del sol, i was wondering if there are any fog lights that would fit in the lower part of the bumper... i drive in the country side and need more light to make it safer to drive.... do the eg or ek one's fit? or any aftermarket square type lights, i dont like the round circle ones.

Re: Del sol fog light question
all 93-95 del sols came with the aux lights. the op wants fog lights that are located lower on the bumper. I believe these fog lights for the del sol are rather rare and expensive. you could try 96-98 civic fog lights as they are much easier to find. I however have no idea how well they will fit.

Those are what I'm talking about. I'm not sure if they were a option or not. I know you can get them from places like jhpusa and weksos.

Most cars do not come with foglights even if they are available parts.

Re: Del sol fog light question
The DEPO foglights are crap. I've had the DEPO, Esuse and OEM ones.
The DEPO aren't worth the time it takes to order them. They're junk. They leak and have electrical (generally grounding) issues.
Esuse is so similar to OEM that the parts can be used as replacement parts on the OEM ones.
I only replaced the Esuse ones with OEM ones when I found some for the right price and the passenger Esuse one cracked (looked like a big rock it it).
I've never heard of anyone using the square lights on a del Sol though. Only the round.

I've installed DEPO foglights before, they are without a doubt one of the cheapest looking things i've ever had the displeasure of working with. Sure they're cheap, but the fact is you can waste a lot of money buying cheap. It makes far more sense to me to buy high quality parts once then to buy cheap parts numerous times.

hes had them for like 4-5 months already i think. maybe even longer. he has DEPO headlights, his fog lights look the same as those DEPO ones u put up there but he fabricated them into HID fogs anyway.

The DEPO lights look basically the same... from the front. Not from the rear and not mechanically.
I had mine for a few years. They were total crap and I regretted the purchase soon after, but when I purchased them I'd never seen the OE ones for sale yet.

Re: Del sol fog light question
well i finally put some ek fogs on the car... took some time but i think it turned out great.
...had to relocate the stock horn because it was in the way... other than that everything else was just cut and try to fit.
before...
cut the bumper...
mount the bracket...
after...
and yes, my bumper is cracked... lol. thats actually why i wanted to try to see if the fogs fit because im goin to buy a new bumper anyways.

OMG... I thought you were going to put in the ROUND '96-'98 Civic ones, which are basically the same as the del Sol ones (different mounting brackets than would come with the del Sol kit though).
They look like they sag.
