Del Sol or Coupe
I have recently pcked up a 95 Del Sol EG2. It is originally a B16 car, but the previous owner dropped in a 99 d16y7 (still need small things to crank). It needs some body work, but it is a solid car with no rust (hard to believe). I am trying to decide whether to stay with it and make it a nice street car or stop and trade/sell it for a coupe. I have always liked the coupes (I ahve also liked the del sols). I am looking for someone's thoughts and opinions on which way to go. Any input would be great, thanks. Looking for otherpeople's thoughts on the matter. Here are some pics of it.

It has eibach springs with tokico struts, 4 wheel disks, and 3 Rota Grid 15x6.5 & tires. Just got a new Skunk 2 shifter also. It has some nice things to it.

That thing definitely needs some work, but I would keep it. I love Del Sols. Also, you already have it, getting a different car will come with costs that you wouldn't have keeping the one you already own.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of deal did you get on the sol? I'm kinda in the market for a fixer upper myself. I'd definitely keep it if I were you. Sure it needs some work, but it will be worth it! Not a fan of the yellow seats or door inserts....that would be the first thing I'd change

If you got another car I would say keep the del sol. Its a fun summer car until you need to carry something or carry more than 1 person or carry a fat friend

Very nice looking cars. Great job on the work. I will be doing most of the work in my garage. For the work I have least experience in, I have friends in those areas. Thanks to all for there inputs.

I like the Sol, but a coupe may be more functional and easier to get parts for. Honestly, get whatever you like better. I know hatches are hard to get some stuff for, but I love them too much to have something else.
