del sol budget build.
hey guys i got a 94 del sol with a z6 im building. i plan on staying single cam just because to many people go dual cam and i want to stay with the orginal motor. but anyway i already have some bolt ons( dc short ram, hp racing header, high flow cat and stainless cat back. spaced throttle body) but i was looking at a powercard fuel controller. but i was wondering if there are any motors that have larger injectors that will work in my single cam without giving me any trouble.

If u run smaller then you cut off the fuel the engine needs and it wont get enuf. Bigger injectors mean too much fuel. You'll burn more so gas mileage will decrease and can get sparkplugs wet and they won't fire. Can also cause over wearing of the pistons since the combustion will be hotter because of the extra gas. I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. You could use injectors from any dsm car as long as you get a resistor box.

Forget the bigger injectors. You have a stock Z6 with standard bolt-ons. Bigger injectors won't do much of anything even WITH a chipped, socketted and tuned ECU. You obviously didn't research this or think it through.

You call this research? This is like going into the library and asking the librarian to read you the books. I found out in less than five minutes what you could not in 11 days.

i still dont see your point i found out the same information regardless. im assuming your one of those forum guys who hate when people ask stupid questions but yet you find it necessary to post on them.

I thought you didn't do any research? I don't get it then. Why post if you already know the answer? And you admit you asked stupid questions? Hm.
Here's the answer to your turbo question, that I know you have the answer to already, in the form of more questions.
What sized turbo? What is the horsepower goal? What is your budget?

Not for $1,000. Your research is flawed. Even if you can get the kit for less than a grand (just the parts), a tune will cost you AT LEAST $300-$500 NOT COUNTING the engine management. And I don't mean a chipped ECU from Ebay. I also suspect you are looking at an Ebay turbo kit. If you are, 6 week lifespan for the engine.
