Default Del Sol Brake-upgrade

I´m gonna upgrade the brakes from my ´92 Del Sol (EH6).

Rearbrakes will come from a EG2 or newer EH6 with discs, I´ll take the complete rear suspension from there.

Frontbrakes: I´d like to take 282mm discs. As far as I know, Integra TypeR (DC2), Civic 1.8 VTi (MC2 ...) and Prelude BB1,2,3 Calipers will fit for that.

But I heared that Honda Legend and !!! NSX !!! calipers fit, too? And they are even bigger thant DC2 calipers? Is this true!?!

EDIT:

I forgot: Would the rear suspension of a ´91 CRX Vtec (EE8) fit on my EH6?

The NSX & Legend calipers are two piston calipers. From what I've read, they will work with 11" rotors (type R etc..). It will work as long as you have the knuckles for a 10.2" brake assembly (any Integra, or Del sols & civics that came w/ ABS). None of those calipers just bolt up though, you have to grind off the brackets of the calipers to match different rotor offset of the civic. That goes for all the NSX, TL, Legend, Type R, Prelude & Accord Wagon calipers.

You are also going to need a larger master cylinder & matching booster. Get a 1" if you use type R, NSX, or Legend calipers. That means you will have to bend & re-flare your old brake lines to fit.

You will need the 4040 proportioning valve if your switching from rear drums to rear disc.

There are already a few "DIY" threads on this...

The 11" OEM front disc swap seems like way too much work for what you end up with IMO. I would rather purchase Wilwoods new 11" disc conversion w/ 4 piston calipers. I've found it for sale for only $530, and everything is new...

Damn, 530USD for a Wilwood is really cheap. Thanks, man! Where did you find it?

Up to know the cheapest I found were used ´99 DC2 calipers for 150€ and new ATS 282mm discs for 155€. So the front swap will be realised for under 350€, but won´t be as good as the Wilwood-version.
But I´m from germany and we´ve got the TÜV here (I hope you know it). For driving the Wilwood brake legally, I need some confirmations / certificates for it. Do you think Wilwood has something like this?

I didn´t know at all that I´ve to modify so much things if i swap from drums to rotors. I think I´ll forgot that - too much work for too less performance...
The larger master cylinder MUST BE? Why won´t the old work?

Sorry, the 11" kis listed at $549 on this site (looks like they upped their prices, so look for coupons). Go to hotrodsusa.com, they sell all wilwood kits. They even sell the older 12.2" kit for only $549 (for civics with OEM 9.5" fronts). These prices include free shipping, a free adjustable proportioning valve (which I wouldn't use), use of saftey pliers (w/ deposit), and free brake lines. You can also upgrade to red calipers for $200 more ( ). I don't know if the kit includes saftey wire or not, but its cheap. I can't speak for their service or support since I haven't ordered anything from them. I have contacted them by phone, but it took me a few days since their answering machines pick up really quickly.

Also, according to the parts list, the new 11" kit comes with E compound pads (instead of Q). The E's have a much higher temperature range, and a better torque curve than the Q's (they probably dust more and don't last as long, but who cares).

Here is wilwoods PDF on the 11" kit... http://www.wilwood.org/ds491.pdf
