Default Del Sol B18C1

I have a del sol with a gsr swap. I would highly recommend this swap. It is much faster than a hatch with a gsr. With a turbo it is extremely sick also.

How is it faster than a hatch witha b18c1 swap? Just curious as to your reasoning.

Ohhh, so a 2000lb hatch is slower than a 2400lb Del sol with equal mods.

Thanks for the info

That's the part where you're wrong. Aside from being slower, it looks girly as well.

That is a nice look sol. I would not mind having one but I need the back seats. They are not girl cars. Girl cars are SUV's.

the del sol doesnt weight that much more than a hatch back.. and it weighs less than a coupe..
Weighs about 270lbs more than an EG hatch, that's quite a bit for a honda. And I hate to tell ya but my coupe with my swap still weighs less than a stock del sol. The swap probably adds 50-60 lbs at least.

yea stop hatin on del sols...i'd rather have a girly car that is looking at ur "hatckback" 3 or 4 car lengths behind me then tryin to look like a poser...the reason why i chose a del sol over a civic hb was because it's something new and different then seeing the usual honda being fixed up that u see all over...don't get me wrong tho..i still got love for hatchbacks or coupes but i just wanna see something different everyonce in a while..especially a del sol like that clean *** white one up above

civic hatchbacks are a good 200 pounds lighter than a del sol, they seat more, have more cargo room, and no guys will hit on you. however, there is something about del sols with a 99-00 civic front end conversion that look really bad ***. really, the only girly thing on a del sol is how the front looks.

hey.....winning 3 1st place trophies at ricer shows is not something to be bragging about.........all that means is that your just as much of a ricer as all those other idiots your monkeying around with.......ither way your del sol is not fast its quick.....as for looking like a girls car IMO it does especially when you take the roof off.........and for saying your car is faster then a hatch with a gsr i dont think so pal my friends 92 cx with a gsr would own you.......

it seems to me like we got another ricer at heart in are hands!!!

damn n00bs...

sols have their good points and hatches have their good point, lets not get into a flame war because of some n00b.

this thread is going to go nowhere fast. I think the intent of this post was to get everybody into an arguement, and it looks as if it did. Lets do ourselves a favor and not reply anymore to this post b/c there is nothing to gain if you do.

If you can't handle people saying your car is girly, sell it.
