Deciding on Exhaust System! Need advice...
Before I ask my question here's my setup on my car:
Vehicle: 1997 Civic Hatch
Engine: 2000 B18C5 (using stock ITR headers)
Future plans: Boost
Question:
Okay I'm looking for an exhaust system thats not extremly loud but still able to produce optimal performance (2.5" pipping)...I still want my vehicle to be daily drivable.
I'm interested in the T1R exhaust system(http://www.aj-racing.com/catalog/pro...4&cat=0&page=4)
or getting a universal HSK carbon Ti Exhaust
but a friend of mine said that T1R's are louder then HKS . So i was thinking, if that's true, should i just get the T1R exhaust system but switch the muffler to the universal carbon Ti exhaust?
Anyone have experience or have heard these two exhaust's?

i have the HKS Carbon exhaust... and my friend is getting the T1r for his gsr...
the HKS one is really DEEP toned and queit... i havent heard the T1r yet... but they are about the same price each lols!
at first when i got my exhaust, i could arely hear anything! but then later it started to get louder and louder because i got some local muffler shop to do the piping... that's what i get for gonig cheap!
HKS carbon is good.. but get hte T1R... best in the market!

If you are willing to shell out the dough, which I know you are , think about this...
THis one thing that Im doing later on this summer. Buy an Spoon N1 axle back for a DC5 RSX. ITs a 2.5 inch unit that flows much better than the 2.38 inch units. Next, pick up a T1R B pipe; you should also decide if you want a cat or test pipe...I recommend a cat from magna flow. It will be a universal piece so you'll have to have flanges welded on... You'll have to mod the DC5 axle back slightly as far as length I believe.
All these can be ordeded from Justin or Ben at Aj. Justin handles the I-sales up there. This will give you a seriously beautiful sound coupled with a power making, free flowing exhaust system...and something few have....which I know you want.
