Deal of the century...
I usually don't like to post eBay things but I couldn't get over this thing...right now its at $3000
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...93586
Lets see, its got the motor, entire interior, wheels, lip, grille, tails, trunk, entire right side...you could easily make 2 or 3 grand off that car...if only I had money
Two More Salvaged Si's on eBay:

The reserve is probably high on it though. Would be good to buy and part out though. Nice find

werd its got vtech i'm biddin
doesn't seem like much of a deal to me.. he says his reserve is less than 5k (so its 4999). there's already mad bids on it and 2 days left. plus that's a good bit of body work and PAINT so roughly 2-4k on that (i dunno i don't work at a body shop, but i know that **** is mad expensive - i paid 400 to get a damn mirror put on and painted )
so total would be somewhere in the 7-10k range. in my opinion, that's not that much of a deal for a 99 with 85k that has already been wrecked.... but it does have vtech y0.

Deal of the century....?
Not a horrible deal if you can get it cheap, but if someone is going to rebuild it there would be the issue of a salvage title. No thanks.

Deal of the century? eh, its an ok deal. My friend just bought a 95gsr on cinder blocks for 3,800. Now that was a steal. But a good find for someone who can tackle the suspension and body work

Not to mention the brakes would swap over too. I'd have upgraded front brakes and rear disc brake conversion...Then I'd sell the rest....

..I think he called it the 'deal of the century' becuase you could probably part it out and get more than you paid for it back, or use anything(I'm thinkin motor/tranny, interior, etc.) you can for your project civic's. ehh.. that's jut how I read it

Re: (BauleyCivic)
i've seen civics wrecked worse than that repaired to perfect condition. you just have to know what you're doing. on that civic you'd definitely have to cut the quarter out (~400), door (~300), hood (50), headlight (50), back bumper (50), windshield (120), pulling the frame (100), paint the whole car (700). this is assuming you're doing all the work yourself except for the paint. thats 1100 in total damage. i'd say that cars worth around $3.5k max because of the mileage. with lower mileage i'd say up to $4.5k. if buying for a parts car, i'd say its worth no more than $3k.

Re: Deal of the century... (BauleyCivic)
as for the other 2 si's without engines, i garauntee you that they bought them for no more than $1500. you can get enginelss si's on salvage auctions for as cheap as 400-500 without a interior or front end.
