Sounds like a pain-in-the-*** process.

Not only would it be a bitch to fit it in the cluster cover because the two clusters are physically quite different, quoted from a diff site "the RSX cluster DOES NOT FIT in the 96-00 civic dashboards. If you take the bezel off you can get it inside the cluster compartment, but again its too wide unless you really force it in there. It'll sit upright, & I dont think it looks good. It looks ghetto."

...but the wiring would also be a nightmare. the dc5 cluster doesn't work the same way 88-00 clusters do. you need the multiplexer unit from a k-series ecu. the engine vitals go to the ecu first and then go through an optical line to the cluster. it would be a monumental pain in the dick trying to make this cluster work in a 88-00 chassis. that is unless you already have a k-swap.. which i imagine you do not. If you want to be somewhat different try an integra or crv gauge cluster.

That pretty much sums it up....it can be done, but "not" worth it to most....what a hassel

I dropped in a CTR cluster in my EK, couldn't be happier, plug and play
