i was just wondering, he hadn´t done that much and reduced the weight so drastically...
does anyone know him personally?

Re: DarkSol Motorsport: How did he get his Sol so light???
mate like yourself we're in europe so I don't know him. Such a Del Sol could easily be driven on the street, I don't believe that he has idle problems.
btw if you look at the site he explains what he added and what he took out and how many lbs difference it did.
cheers!

I know Dave.
Not best friends or anything, but we talk occasionally via email etc.... And occasionaly when he isn't in other Countries!!
He currently just ran the car up in Canada, 12.437 at 109.74!!
It's still an all-motor B18C5
Not sure of it's daily drivability currently, although when that page was first made and those pics were taken it was a daily driver. The car just keeps losing weight.

OK, I actually went through and got all of my weight lists compiled and posted up on the web all the current mods and stuff... it's all here:
http://www.darksol.com/showcase.html
If you want pictures and stuff from a couple of years ago (still looks just about the same) go download the review .pdf file here:
Common Driver Review
that's on the link above. I just updated the parts/weights/mods list just about 10 minutes ago - it's been needing an update for the past couple of years...
If you need to know anything more just ask...
