Default Danger of CAI

Im starting to get second thoughts about my CAI. People say that their engines were blown by going through a puddle?? I thought it was only if you submerge the intake. Also, If i have my splash guard completely covering the intake, will that guarantee it not to suck up water??

Hey for what ever it costs you to buy the "bypassvalve" thing - is much sheaper than most mods we spend $$ on, so do yourself a favor and get one.

Better safe than sorry!
