DAMN thieve's tried to steal my car last night!!! READ UP!
Ok i went out to a friend's last night for and stayed over parked me EJ in the driveway set my alarm and kill switch's.So i come out from her house at about 8a.m umm and to my dismay my passenger door is open and my alarm siren is sitting on the ground.Check inside window is off track and ingnition is busted beyond repair and ingnition cover's in th back seat and van's footprint's all over my fresh black LS seat's.Oh and i had a dead battery aswell for some reason the damn thieve's pulled apart my alarm/horn damn i need a hood pin.But they dident take anything i had money and other good's in the car.Good comlicated kill switch's are worth it,or my Ej would have been trashed and stripped apart

I wanted to make his day by bringing it back with a full tank of gas, and maybe would've threw in a hooked on phonics book too after reading this post.

Very well executed on your part, op.
Sure, there was no hood pin and allegedly no back up siren? However, the kill switches prevented the theft. You used layers of security properly, and thus retained your vehicle, despite losing the "early warning" the alarm would have provided if you had a battery back-up and hood pin.
Odd to say this, given the circumstances, but I honestly congratulate you. You've saved your vehicle.

the hood pin is a part that is connected to the alarm,installed on the radiator support,most of the time.so when the hood is popped with the alarm activated it will set the alarm off. hth with the explanation

Yeah, issue with phrase "hood pin" is that it's two items, both of which are security related (one moreso than other). As lsvtec-crx mentioned, OP is referring to a pin that detects when hood is up, not the "keep hood closed" pins. Though that may help too, to keep battery from getting snipped and thus alarm disabled.

Your really lucky man I tell everyone to look into this little gadget called ravelco you can look it up on you tube definitely worth the install.
