Damn i bent my Spoon front lower tie
i recently bought spoon f/r lower ties for my eg. is the front one supposed to hang 3" off the ground? haha on my first day i hit two bumps and bent the bar back about 1 1/2".

yeah i used to have one and it sucked royally! flimsiest POS i have ever spent over $100 on. Don't buy them they don't do ****. Buy a cage if you want handling upgrades.

I heard the Spoon ones hang pretty damn low and uses weak brackets. I've read a few instances of people ripping off the Spoon front tie bar completely after hitting stuff on the ground. The Cusco, JIC, and Carbing design looks structurally stronger than the Spoon. I'll pass on the front lower tie bar though as I can't afford to give up anymore ground clearance.

think about how thick and large your crossmember is.... There is no way that that would flex enough to actually do something(loose traction). I hate the thought of even having that bar underneeth my car.....
