damn CEL won't blink..

Default damn CEL won't blink..

ok so i swapped a 96 b18b into my EK..i used a obd2a harness i think...it plugs in the 1,3,4 spots which i searched and found out that is obd2a..ok i have a conversion harness for obd2a to obd1..for a few days i only had a p30 ecu..which i knew would throw me like 359430852 codes....anyways..i just got my pr4 Ecu..dude doesn't know if its for manual or auto...but.....i plugged it in and i still have a damn cel...ok so like normal i bridge the lil brown plug by the harness..and it doesn't blink at all..wtf??? it blinks with the p30 ECU...granted tho..the car runs awesome except for the fact that it idles kinda high (2G)...i think thats from my fuel pump cause its reading 55psi? thats high i think...

anyways....i'm lost?? it runs good..but i have a CEL...?
got any ideas..

i have no clue what you just said.....
does the CEL come on for a couple seconds,then cut off when you turn the key on?when you short the connector,does it come on solid,or not come on at all?
you say it blinks with the P30-what codes do you have?
your high fuel pressure is most likely the result of a bad regulator-it's what determines the pressure.

check the radio backup fuse in the engine bay fuse box, if its blown already the cell wont blink. U may want to also try actually turning on the engine if the key in the "on" position wont make it blink.

ok...forget what i posted earlier....

i reset my ECU and now i'm in business..i tried resetting it before...but nothing happened..so i tried again..and its working...now i only have one code...and i really don't know why i have it..it just blinks once every like 2 or 3 seconds...
blinks...pause.................................... ..........blinks..........pause anyways...the code i beleive is 10...which is intake temp...but i have that hooked up...i'm gonna see if its getting power today...i'm runnin an obd2 hatch...someone said a while back there is somethin under the glove box you have to reset????????? never heard of it...can anyone back up old rumors????

plus..i have 2 wires that aren't being used...anyone know them off the top of there head..its a 98 CX harness...there blue and yellow and white and green...they go to a plug....not bein used...

To reset the ECU you just have to disconnect the battery for like 20 secs

Thats true u can reset it that way, but if u want to reset it without ruining ur radio presets/settings, u have to take out the radio backup fuse and the EFI fuse, both in the engine fuse box.
