Default da for eg?

i am looking for just opinions here. I have a 1993 hatch with a ls/vtec swap and i could possibly trade it for a 1993 integra w/ b16a swap. My eg is in decent condition, i would say about 7 of 10 while the da is just about perfect. Is it worth it do you guys think?

depends on how you see your car. i see my car as my daily commuter so i would not do the trade. some on here see theirs as a race car, and some still as a show car. i like my mileage and thats the only reason im driving my civic. i like the look of the DA but not sure i would get one. its really your choice. but think it through.

I guess if you really want a DA then yes trade..........but from a money aspect if your car is in good condition your hatch is more then likely worth more then the DA is by far.

plus who wants a slow *** da with a b16... i would say as long as your car is running fine keep it. fix it up so you are happy with it and keep it forever. thats what i did with my baby :-)

Unless you're doing it for smog purposes, I would stick with the LS V hatchie =P

i would trade it only if you keep your motor and put it in the da and he puts the b16 in your eg

its all on you...i would trust my car more then some1 else car because who knows if the DA b16 motor was abused and banged up....i have a 93 db2 gsr b17a1 and its like a b16 but different cams...the DA

body is very heavy ...even the 94+ DC is lighter. a b16 in a DA wont pull as strong as your EG especially with an LS/V...but in the end they both look good.so you do the math

DA's do not weigh as much as Dc's. if you compare by model rs gs ls gsr, they are different. but it is true that your eg will pull harder than the da.

picking an eg over a da has nothing to do w/ being a ricer or not... it comes down to what he likes. you have the choice of a faster, smaller, lighter car. OR you can go w/ a "flawless" like you said, car with a little less power. So if you want you can think of it like this. would it be harder to swap and ls block into that DA and go lsvtec, or to make your eg that clean?
