d16z6 ticking question
im almost 100% sure that the valves need to be adjusted, but i have a question for you guys as ive never dealt with this.
the head on the egine has been milled .001
i was wandering, when doing a valve adjustment, if that amount would make any difference. should i adjust the valves with the .001 in mind?
i know that number doesnt seem like much, but can NEVER be too careful

Re: d16z6 ticking question (G2 Speed)
well iwould assume since there is .001 milled off the head that the valves would be .001 closer to the pistons and therefor i would have to adjust my valves accordingly.
but i wanted to make sure.
so if <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by G2 Speed »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">did u just answer your own questions with in it self </TD></TR></TABLE>

yeah, but this is a valve, i know the difference, learned that from my old accord.
the injecters NEVER got this loud.
besides, could never hurt to give a valve adjustment

Re: d16z6 ticking question (93cb7sedan)
you are talking about such a small amount its not going to make any difference. With the d16 valve adjustment make a huge difference in the way the car runs and the amount of valve train noise.
