Default d16z6 swap running rich.

i searched and got all kinds of different responses for why i could be running rich. but it also seems that this problem is dependent on what is done to each individual system, so im posting it up.

here is what i have.

92 civic dx with d16z6
p06 ecu (soon to be p28)
aem fuel rail and fpr
dc sports 4-2-1 header
skunk2 intake manifold
str 68mm TB
bigger injectors (unkown flow rate, the guy i bought it from forgot as well)
running a d16z6 engine wiring harness.
No cels
i think its a 3 wire o2 sensor (its the one from my d15b7)
fresh valve adjustment
idle is fine

I know its running rich because its spitting black smoke when reved up, and when i take out the spark plugs they are wet and smell like fuel (also when spinning the engine with plugs out by the crank pulley fuel vapors come out)

This was my first swap, im mechanically inclined, but dont have all the knowlege yet (still learning)

anyways, wandering what ideas you guys have. i have the following at my disposal.

a spare d15b7 map sensor
d15b7 stock fuel system
another 02 sensor (i think from a d15b7, not sure tho) the only problem is i cant get my old one out of my exhuast header and its stripped
stock injectors
soon i will have a p28 but it needs to be chipped (its a socketed p28)
charcoal cansiter is not hooked up, plugged one vacuum line until i can get a line that will reach the intake manifold.

if you need any more information just ask and i will let you know, if i know it.

edit:

before i swapped the motor from another car, it had an erratic idle, but it did not run rich at the time, so its something after the swap.

Did you have it tuned since you put the new motor in?

if your running a p06 ecu with larger injectors then thats why its rich... put the stock injectors back in until the ecu is tuned to accomodate larger injectors

i am gonna get a fuel pressure gauge so i can adjust the fpr.

if i put the stock injectors back in and leave the other stuff (fuel rail, fpr) then it should be ok right?

i should have the p28 tomorrow, but no telling when i will be able to get it tuned.
