D16z6 intake on y8 head
I have a d16z6 block with y8 head and put another d16z6 intake on it and used the d16z6 intake manifold gasket and now started pushing coolant in oil and out overflow. Please help. Checked oil before starting ND perfectly clean and instant after swap milky. Sutt off and wondering what to do thanks

You have a warped head by the sounds. You have to pull the head and check both the block and the head for flatness.
Just looked at head gaskets, oil return channels are in same spots so, warped head/block....

I don't know how it could be a warped head I have been driving the car daily before and never removed head all I did was replace intake manifold. Could I have hoses wrong or wrong intake gasket

Re: D16z6 intake on y8 head
I'm running a D16z6 Edelbrock I/M on my setup (D16y8 head). Similar to what you have.
Sounds like the headgasket is blown or the cylinder head is warped.

Re: D16z6 intake on y8 head
The only thing I can think of is if you somehow ran one of the coolant lines to your PCV breather box on the back of the block. There is not any other way of coolant getting into the crank case without either warped head/bad head gasket or a crack in the head at a coolant passage point. The only other stretch would be the EGR port of the head. The IM usually blocks it off and it's the black carbon filled circle hole right above the square coolant hole of the right side of the intake side of the head, but that is on a Z6/B7/B2/B8/Z1 head. Not sure if it even exists on the Y8. I don't know if the Y5 used an EGR and would need the exhaust gas port like the VX (Z1) did. If it is, then maybe coolant is going there to the exhaust valves, into the cylinder to the crank past the rings.....
