Icon2 d16z6 idle problems? plz help?!

ok guys heres whats up i have a 1993 honda civic Si hatch with the d16z6 which i blew up so i just replaced it with yet another z6 to keep it a true si but here is the thing it idels really bad like constent backfire and idk whats the deal we have replaced the plugs all the gaskets includung the head gasket and even the timing belt but when i check the codes code number 14 is comming up wich is the "IAC" idle control valve. So in thinking that this is the problem i took my old one off and switched it with an extra one i had laying around "after i cleaned it" and yet its still running the same so any ideas out there let me hear them??
Now to try to make this more clear here is a video its not mine but its just about the same thing my car is doing.... Again this video is not mine its just an example but any help would be great this car has been siting for bout a year now and i really want to get this thing moving thanks alot
