Default D16Z6 Head with D16Y8 Manifold?

Can you use a d16z6 head with a d16y8 intake manifold? if so what are the differences? what do you have to modify in order for it to work?? and is it better flowing??

Yes it will work.

Convert from obd2 to obd1 on the mani.

You'll probably hear from most people they flow pretty similarly, but likely you'll see better low/mid gains from the y8, and better gains in the high range with the z6.

thanks for the info i think i'll stay with the z6 for better top end.
