Default D16z6 to D15b7 swap

So I just acquired a 94 Civic Si. The girl who pwned it before me drove it without oil and basically fused the motor. I haven't had time to check it out but it most definately needs a new motor. I have access to a D15b7 with fairly low miles at a decent price so I was planning on going that route and swapping it in for a DD and I just had a few questions. I was pretty sure that the Si tranny will bolt directly to the b7? and I can use the ecu? I know it will throw a couple codes for the lack of a vtec head, unless I wanted to try and bolt the z6 head on the d15, but I dont know about the condition of the z6 head or the reliability of a 'mini-me' swap which would be a self-defeating effort for this project as I am shooting for simplicity and reliability.
Any help/suggestions are appreciated

Direct swap. Just get a P06 ecu. Don't use your current one. I happen to have an extra one as well.

Just order a jdm d15b, i just ordered mine i paid 630 which includes shipping through japaneseimportengine.com. The engine also has a bigger cam than the z6 and about 4-5 more hp

You gonna spend alot more trying to get all the parts to work correctly on a minime, Ive only heard bad things about them.

I wasn't really proposing the mini-me swap just something someone suggested. I was really just planning on swapping the d15b7 in directly since i have the motor available, I was just trying to get a little feedback. I have done the reverse swap before (d15b7 to d16z6) and figured that it should be rather straight forward, especially now that I have an air compressor/impact wrench...
Thanks for the comments tho

Yea I see what your saying, it can swap straight over, you just need the computer for the b7 or your will have check engine lights im sure.

I have a D16Y8 with forged high compression pistons and a upgraded cam. Compression is 13:3. It is out 96 civic OBD 2. I bought it to put it in my 89 civic wagon OBD 0. I ran across more work with wiring then I want to deal with. I am selling the Motor with head for what I bought it for....$600. OR best offer if interrested.
