D16z6 Clutch bleed????
So my friend just bought a 94 ex coupe, and his clutch pedal feels really loose and just drops to the floor, but the clutch grabs well... so wondering if it just needs a clutch bleed. and what kinda fluid does it need. and does anyone have a step-by-step tutorial i can look at to do it?? thanks!!

brake fuild. Look down in front of tranny and youll see the slave clynder, theres a bleeder on it, pump the clutch then open it and let air out, the close and reapeat as needed.

If you don't have another person to help you, you're going to need a bottle or jar and a hose that will slide over the end of the bleeder on the slave cylinder. You put the hose onto the bleeder, and the other end of the hose into your container. Fill the container with fluid, so the end of the hose is under the fluid line. It's best to have a long enough hose that you can reach close to the bottom of the container, so you're not wasting so much good fluid, and so that it doesn't get full too quick. Fill up your reservoir with fluid, open the slave cylinder bleeder (with the hose still on it), get in the car, and start pumping. Go nice and slow, pumping fast just creates more air bubbles. Once you start building pressure, it should take you about 2.5-3 seconds to push the pedal down all the way; that's how slow you should pump. Check the fluid level of the reservoir occasionally, to see if you need to refill it, and check the container to make sure it's not getting over filled. Repeat this over and over again until you're happy with the pedal stiffness. And don't reuse the fluid from the container, because it's probably filled with grimy black junk that you don't want back in your lines.

Also before you start, check for any leaks under your clutch pedal (under the dash), it could be your clutch master cylinder going bad. It would be kind of strange for you to lose pressure like that, if you didn't do anything to let air in to the system (like replacing a clutch line or replacing the master cylinder.
