the first 2 runs, it spiked to 8 psi and leveled off to about 6.5psi.

BTW This was all done on the BLUE BOX

Damn good numbers for that. I have the E-Manage and I would imagine if you tuned it you could pull quite a bit more power than with the dreaded blue box.

im willing to bet that if you got a good fuel managment setup you could get 200whp.

Can someone post a pic of the "blue box."

I hear them talked about all the time but I have never actually seen one I think.

I don't think I've seen one either. I have the E-Manage and it looks like a little blue amp to me.

Those are really good looking numbers man. Keep up and post more later! I'm trying to keep track of this stuff.

By the way: as far as Torque is concerned.. though only two cases with dynos... a d16y5 puts out more torque than whp when turbo charged.. has anyone heard of this happening in a SOHC honda motor or any DOHC Honda motor? That's my first time hearing that.

well the blue box looks exactly what it sounds like. kinda like a small amp looking thing. but no writing on it, just a little blinking green light.

Controls the car's fuel map while it's boosting.

thanks for the comments guys

but a question for ya...

this dyno run was done with a gutted cat and 2.25" crush bent exhaust. how much power would i free up by switching to a 2.5" mandrel bent system? my main goal for my motor is to reach 200whp. i was thinking of slapping on some kind of intercooler cooler sumthing like the NX system. opinions? suggestions?

I say get a full 3 inch exhaust and get some other form of fuel management and tune it. You can hit 200whp easily like that.

Quick Question for clearing up:

Did it make 184.5 at 8psi or 184.5 at 6.5psi?

You said it spiked first two runs and that's what confused me.

u dont think 3" would be overkill? i was thinking of grabbing some 440's and throwing in the SMC i have sitting in my room, but i am real impressed with the numbers the blue box is giving me, so i dont know....decisions, decisions.....

I think 3 inch would be just fine. And tunability is going to be better than whatever that blue box can toss your way.

EDIT: And just so you know this is coming from another turbo D series guy, so I'm not just talking out of my ***.

i actually made peak HP at about 6-7 psi. if u look at the second graph, u can see where my boost levels off to.
